Key people
Keith Forster – Managing Director.
Keith joined Boughey as Financial Director in 2001 before taking up the role of MD 3 years later. With a background in manufacturing and distribution, he has considerable experience managing rapid expansion and integration projects both in large corporations and smaller independent businesses.
Martyn Nicholls – Operations Director.
Martyn joined the company in 1991, working his way up through the ranks first to Customer Services Manager and then Operations Controller. He has been Boughey’s Operations Director since 2004 and is responsible for all warehousing, handling, distribution, customer service and health and safety.
Andrew Clarkson – Finance Director.
Before joining Boughey Distribution in January 2005, Andrew spent eight years as a Finance Director in chilled food product manufacturing and distribution to multiples and a further twelve months working at an importer and distributor of household goods, again to the multiples. His role at Boughey includes responsibility for the Finance, Administration and IT departments
Chris Foster - Warehouse Operations Manager
Chris’s 15 years in logistics have seen him in a wide variety of warehouse & transport roles, managing a large number of blue chip clients including Lever Brothers, Cadburys and Princes. Part of the Boughey team since 2001, his role has steadily expanded to cover all warehouse operational issues at the Wardle depot, ensuring customer demands are met promptly & efficiently
Joe Foster – Transport Manager.
Joe has been with Boughey since May 1997 and has enjoyed a variety of roles including HGV driver, traffic supervisor and driver trainer/ assessor. His main responsibility today is to ensure the Boughey fleet is utilised efficiently to make delivery of ambient food stock in the most cost effective manner. He also responsible for making sure the fleet and its drivers are legally compliant, liaising with fleet engineers to maintain fleet service levels and ensuring loads and delivery times are achievable within resources
Dave Vernon - Warehouse Manager.
Part of the Boughey team since 1986, Dave has held a number of positions within the company. His current role requires him to agree and oversee new service contracts for our Deeside depot.-
Phil Grosvenor – Customer Services Manager.
Phil joined Boughey in 1990 as a goods clerk, and has held a variety of positions including senior traffic scheduler and warehouse supervisor. His current role involves managing the customer service function within the transport operation of the company.

Claire Eastwood – Administration Manager.
In over 15 years with Boughey, Claire has held a number of administration roles within the business. Currently, her job is to ensure an efficient order processing service and to manage an administration function that complements the Operational areas of the business. -
Steve Woodhead – Business Development Manager.
Steve has worked in the shared-user ambient sector for over 10 years, joining Boughey in early 2006. His role is to act as the initial sales interface between customers and potential customers and with a variety of people within the company to ensure a good commercial relationship is developed with new clients from the outset.
Iain Lochrie – Business Development Executive.
Before joining Boughey Distribution in early 2005, Iain worked for more than 20 years in the banking industry, dealing with senior management in large client companies. His responsibilities are to introduce Boughey and its products to potential customers, convert opportunities into satisfied customers and to act as an interface between new customers and the various departments within Boughey Distribution,until a working day to day relationship is established.
