When Sarah Hall, our Quality Management Audit Supervisor, joined the company she didn’t expect to be required to hold a personal licence to sell alcohol, but the company’s commitment to delivering for its customers has meant that Sarah is now both a personal licence holder and a designated premises supervisor.
Sarah’s new qualifications have facilitated our site in Wardle being awarded a premises licence in connection with handling and despatching alcohol goods. As one of the value-added specialist services we offer to customers is an e-commerce fulfilment and distribution service, Sarah’s new qualifications will permit the distribution of alcohol-related products to end consumers.
“We definitely go the extra mile for our customers here at Boughey,” said Sarah. “Studying for my personal licence so that we can expand our e-commerce offering is a good example of just how far we go.”
“I certainly didn’t ever expect to be taking an exam to be a personal licence holder, but it was a new experience and it’s important for us as a company to always be looking ahead to new business opportunities.”
Sarah completed her training online which included an hour-long visually recorded examination.
