Customer requirements are becoming ever more complex and we are experiencing a real surge in the amount of goods requiring export. As a result we have invested considerable resources in the export side of our business. We have recruited Ruslanas Zubkovas as our new Export Operations Supervisor, heading up a skilled export and collections team.
The importance of getting export decisions right is crucial and the cost of getting it wrong can be disproportionately high. Export orders are often commercially sensitive and are key to customers being able to break into foreign markets. First impressions always count and getting it right first time is essential.
Smoothness of movement of goods can make a big difference to our customers and their buyers. With the approach of Brexit and its associated unknowns, export needs may increase further and our solution to this is scalable.
With the formation of our new team we can now offer additional on-site services. These include palletisation according to customer specification – in terms of pallet types used and pallet configuration, the addition of corner cards, dust hoods and additional shrink wrap and provision for additional customer-specific pallet labels upon dispatch. The team provides specialist loading techniques, such as handball loading, plus the use of load stability systems like Ty Gard and dunnage bags. The export team also offers Specialist Customer Service support to exporting customers too, providing detailed feedback on pallet weights, dimensions and confirmation photos.
Working with 3PL partner Redhead International, we provide a fully managed transport planning and delivery service for export orders, which takes the responsibility of booking collections to final delivery.
We are 100% committed to providing first class customer service.
