A message of support for Covid-19 NHS key workers will be travelling throughout the country on one of our trailers over the coming months.
The specially designed curtain-sided trailer will carry the message “#Thankyou NHS” and its first outing was to Leighton Hospital last week to provide the perfect backdrop for the weekly Clap for Carers initiative.
Driver Ian Ledward came up with the initial idea and developed it further with Operations Manager Steve Newton. They then involved Group Fleet Engineer Paul Brimelow who engaged curtain manufacturer W J Leech & Sons based in Bootle to produce the design. W J Leech & Son provided the artwork and printing costs free of charge.
Speaking about the new trailer, Transport Operations Director Neil Trotter said:
“Our trailers travel the length and breadth of the country each day and provide the perfect medium to get a message out widely. As a company, we wanted to express our own gratitude for the amazing care that NHS staff continue to provide throughout the Covid-19 crisis and we thought that creating a dedicated trailer with a positive message would be a fitting tribute.”
“We were very pleased to be able take the new trailer along to Leighton Hospital on Thursday evening to say a special thank you to NHS staff in our local area.”
